Gorillaz Are Back: ‘Mountain’ Tour Set to Take Over North America in 2026

After months of rumors, Gorillaz has finally decided to give the people what they want! A pair of sold-out Los Angeles shows previewing new album Mountain, and the U.S. debut of House of Kong exhibition, Gorillaz are returning to North America in 2026 for their first full-scale tour in four years. Produced by Live Nation, the run delivers 22 arena dates across the United States and Canada, along with a headline slot at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta.

The tour kicks off September 17 in Orlando, Florida, and wrapping on Halloween night in Seattle, Washington, the tour will bring Gorillaz co-creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett’s celebrated animated universe to life on stage once again. Albarn will lead the live band joined by an evolving lineup of guest performers. Little Simz will appear on most dates, with Deltron 3030 joining across the entire tour.

Arriving on the heels of Gorillaz’s new record Mountain released February 27 on the group’s independent KONG label the tour celebrates another milestone in Albarn and Hewlett’s genre-shifting project. The album, already praised for its daring collaborations and imaginative scope, includes contributions from Sparks, Trueno, Proof, IDLES, Omar Souleyman, Yasiin Bey, Bizarrap, Kara Jackson, Anoushka Shankar, and Tony Allen.

On stage, Gorillaz blended Albarn’s live energy with Hewlett’s animated characters 2D, Murdoc, Noodle, and Russel for a fully immersive performance experience. Critics have hailed the show as a modern classic; Rolling Stone described it as “an overwhelming pop spectacle, anchored by Albarn’s steady presence.” The set will revisit audience favorites including “Feel Good Inc.”, “Clint Eastwood”, “Dare,” “On Melancholy Hill,” and more, alongside tracks from Mountain.
