When you think of a musical come up story, there’s probably a certain order of events that spring to mind: talented musician commits to their artistic vision and works their way from empty bars to local venues with a small, dedicated audience. The idea of a double headliner seems difficult to pull off, and honestly, I Briston Maroney by Gracie Belk didn’t know what to expect walking into Peach Pit & Briston Maroney’s  Long Hair, Long Life Tour . But they pulled off every chaotic second. If I had to give three quick words for the night: chaotic, whimsical, wonderful. Outside of the madness on stage, Charlotte gave us the perfect setting. It was a not-crazy-hot summer day that made me want to just lay in the grass.

Maude Latour and MARIS provided a night of vibrant energy, heartfelt lyrics, and a sense of unity that only music can create.
