Rising pop group, Boy Throb, has officially joined forces with global pop superstar Kesha for the release of their latest single, “DJ Turn It Down,” marking one of the first releases signed to Kesha’s newly launched record label, Kesha Records.

The collaboration arrives at a pivotal moment for the band. Boy Throb has recently been navigating challenges surrounding the O-1 visa application of member Darshan after U.S. immigration officials issued a Request for Further Evidence (RFE). According to the band, authorities questioned whether the group's growing popularity stemmed from “clever marketing tactics” rather than the level of extraordinary talent required for visa approval.

Determined to prove their legitimacy, Boy Throb has continued building momentum through music and live performances. Their partnership with Kesha represents a significant endorsement from one of pop music’s most successful artists. The Grammy-nominated singer, who has amassed more than 75 million equivalent U.S. sales and earned multiple Billboard chart-topping hits, reportedly became a supporter of the band and their mission before joining them in the studio.

“DJ Turn It Down” first gained attention during Boy Throb’s debut concert event, Throbchella, at Bowery Ballroom in NYC where the track was premiered live. Since then, fans have repeatedly called for an official release, helping turn the song into a piece of fan-favorite lore within the group's growing online community.

The band plans to include the Kesha collaboration as a key piece of evidence when resubmitting Darshan’s visa application, highlighting industry recognition from an internationally acclaimed artist.

With the release of “DJ Turn It Down,” Boy Throb continues to build on its rapid rise, while Kesha’s involvement adds another notable milestone to the group's story.
